Amanda and Mike traveled from New York City to host their destination wedding at the Elms Mansion in New Orleans "one of their favorite cities because of it's embodiment of culture, art, music, food, and festivity" (from their engagement announcement). Same reasons we love our city!
We had a blast sharing in their special day and just love the way their wedding announcement described their relationship and engagement night:
"They found love in the city, and love in far-off places. They found love dressed up, and love dressed down. They found love in music, and most importantly, they found love in each other. So on Jan. 15, 2016, after celebrating their 5 year anniversary with dinner at their favorite restaurant, The Mermaid Inn, and a walk around to their favorite spots in their beloved East Village, Mike got down on one knee, Amanda said yes, and they began to fervently plan their big day."
We love their festive welcome bags below and the amazing live painting Frenchy worked on at their reception. At the end of the night, the entire group took the streetcar down St. Charles to end the night back in the French Quarter for a classic New Orleans second line that had everyone dancing. Congrats you two lovebirds!
