Simone and Sean's wedding weekend began at the groom's beautiful family home in Covington, Louisiana. We love the personal and intimate aspect of having your rehearsal dinner at your family home. Everyone sipped on champagne cocktails outside before dinner and speeches began inside...cue lots of laughs and tears! Although the rain came down on their wedding day, these two didn't stop smiling for a moment as they got ready at the Southern Hotel. Simone opted to have a cute cake for her girls to do cake pulls during her bridal prep instead of at the reception. It was such a fun, sweet moment with her besties! When it was time for the finishing touches, Simone was absolutely stunning in her Anne Barge gown that matched her wedding cake perfectly. We loved capturing the emotional moments when her bridesmaids and Sean saw her for the first time in the dress. Simone's style was just breathtaking and her hair and makeup were natural and effortless! She wore gorgeous statement earrings and also gave all of her girls beautiful earrings to accent their feminine, blush dresses. You also have to see the adorable moment between Sean and his ring bearer as they fix their hair and get ready for the ceremony.
St. Peter Catholic Church was the setting for their ceremony, which was extra special because Simone teaches at the parish school. Since Sean played basketball at Loyola, his groom's cake by The Cocoa Bean was a perfect replica of his basketball jersey, while Simone's wedding cake included similar flowers to those on her dress. Everyone partied with the Phunky Monkeys throughout the night...the dance floor was always full. They ended the evening with a classic rose petal toss exit which is always so romantic.
