Once Katherine and her mom visited St. Mary's Church and the Old Ursuline Convent, they knew it was the perfect wedding spot! The courtyard was gorgeous and also meaningful to them because Kat graduated from Ursuline High School. High school was an important part of Ryan and Kat's story since they have been dating since those younger days! Who remembers AIM (AOL Instant Messenger)? Before texting, dating websites, and Tinder, we chatted through this popular site. The intense waiting for that AOL dial-up to go through successfully and occupy our parents' home phone lines was almost too much to handle. Oh the days. We also had to nervously call each other on house phones and potentially have awkward conversations with parents. I digress. Kat and Ryan's love blossomed over 12 years ago through AIM. They have been together ever since! For at least that long, our own Joe and Ryan have been best friends, growing up playing baseball and going to school together. Needless to say, from Joe being one (of four) best men, and Joe's girlfriend, Kayla, being a beautiful bridesmaid, to our own love for Kat and Ryan, this was quite the special wedding celebration for our team. Make sure to watch through to the insane rainy dance party led by the awesome band No Idea (with a guest performance by the Flatbills).
